What Happens Next?

Now that you're registered with Link Communication it's a matter of waiting for new and exciting work to come along in your area. The primary way we advise our work is by email. You will receive emails informing you of what is available. It will have all the relevant information on the advert so if you're interested just give us a call to get booked in. For short notice campaigns we also send out our work by SMS and phone calls.

Once you have been booked you will receive an email titled 'confirmation of work'. This will have application forms, tax details and expense forms attached for you to fill in and return. It will also have confirmation of the hours you are booked for and your rates of pay along with contact details of the people you are working with.

You will then receive another email closer to the date of work with the full instructions. This will include details on how to complete the job, maps of the locations you are working in, feedback forms, and any other necessary information.

After this you will receive a call from a member of our Operations Team. They will make sure that you are still available to work on the dates that you are booked for. They will also go through the instructions with you making sure you understand everything. This is your chance to ask for more information if required.

You will then receive another call during the day to find out how the job is going and to ask for feedback. You need to make sure that you have your phone with you at all times and if you have any missed calls you should return them as soon as possible. Failure to do this could result in deductions from your pay.

After the job has finished you need to fill out the feedback forms/ coverage lists and return them to us within 3 working days. Once feedback has been received you are transferred to our pay list. You need to make sure you filled out the application form and P46 (emailed to you with the confirmation email) and return them. You will not be paid until the application form and P46 have been returned.
