To raise awareness of the new Chupa Chups brand, Mentos Pure Fresh Gum, through the provision of sampling staff member to perform sampling activity at selected underground stations.

Campaign Description:

  • Link Communication provided female product sampling staff who distributed free samples of the Mentos Pure Fresh Gum, to commuters, inside selected underground stations.
  • The activity was carried out on one day in September, the staff members worked from early morning till evening.
  • The activity was extremely busy early in the morning.
  • This quietened off to a steady pace until the early afternoon and into the evening.
  • A large number of people stopped to talk to the members of staff.

Results:

  • The cut through rate was very high with approx 90% of people approached were happy to take a sample of Mentos chewing gum.
