To raise awareness and drive sales for the upcoming Edinburgh City Focus edition.

Campaign Description:
A team of eight high calibre promotional marketing staff approached all pedestrian through traffic in and around the Edinburgh Waverley Station. Recipients were asked if they would like a free sample of The Guardian and a discount voucher for the forthcoming special Edinburgh City Focus edition.
The team wore Guardian branded T shirts throughout the duration of the activity and were positioned strategically inside the main foyer of the station, by each of the main entrance points and on near by walkways and office areas outside of the station.
Results:
- Link Communication were not presented with the number of sales vouchers redeemed, however over 10,000 copies of The Guardian were distributed during the course of seven hours.
- The client was extremely please with the professional, hard working attitude of the promotional staff provided and continues to work closely with Link Communication for their field marketing campaigns.
