Campaign Description:
- A team of Link Communication's high calibre promotional and sales staff manned the Dettol stand, at The Ideal Home Show.
- Prior to the activity a training session was held at the Head Office of Reckitt Benckiser, educating the promotional team on the benefits of use, stockist locations, product knowledge and sales training. This allowed the staff to further improve their sales techniques as well as being formally introduced to the Dettol brand.
Branding:
- Staff members were provided with branded uniforms for the campaign which delivered a smart professional look to the promotion.
- Dettol No Touch graphics, posters and event stands were used so as to reinforce the brand identity.
Results:
- Footfall was very high during the event as The Ideal Home Show was ideal for targeting the correct audience.
- This location meant that optimum audience reach could be achieved during the one-off promotional event.
- The sales figures show that it was received positively by the audience as 4860 units were sold throughout the event, which provided a huge ROI of circa 3:1.
