Brief:
- To execute a nationwide programme of in-store merchandising and product training to John Lewis store staff, along with product demonstrations, in order to increase awareness and drive sales of the new Pogoplug product.

Campaign Description:
- A team of experienced field marketing staff from across the UK were selected by Link Communication for the merchandising and training roles.
- Each member of the team attended a full product training session on Pogoplug where they were taught how to use the product, about competitors in the market, and also how to train others to use and sell Pogoplug.
- At each of the selected John Lewis Stores the field agents trained the retailers and staff in the IT department.

Results:
- At every location, the field marketing staff trained John Lewis store staff and completed the product demonstration. Stores were encouraged to display the Pogoplug in different areas of the IT department as a way to help increase sales.
- The stores were particularly receptive to the training. They have requested that our field agents go back and revisit the store to train the entire IT department including the part-time and weekend staff.
- The field staff received excellent feedback from all of the visited stores and shortly to be holding demonstration days for customers to further raise awareness and increase sales.
