Brief:
To promote awareness, generate attendance and obtain data for Ladies Day at Epsom Race Course.
Target Audience:
Ladies of all ages but with a heavy bias on over the 40's.
Campaign Description:
Link Communication organised a branded event area in Ashley Shopping Centre for a period of two weeks prior to Ladies Day at Epsom racecourse. The event area comprised of:
- A branded car which people could win by entry a prize draw.
- Branded competition entry forms and ballot box.
- Branded displays and pop up graphics.
- Branded leaflet dispensers.
- Mannequins dressed in the 'Ladies Day' style.
The event areas was manned by a high calibre member of the Link Communication promotion team who promoted the Ladies Day, distributed leaflets and encouraged people to enter the competition.
Results:
- There were over 4,000 entrants to the competition.
- Over 7,000 leaflets were distributed over the course of two weeks.
- The client reported Ladies Day was a huge success with record attendance figures.
- Link Communication continue to promote this event on an annual basis.
