Brief:

To promote awareness, generate attendance and obtain data for Ladies Day at Epsom Race Course.

Target Audience:

Ladies of all ages but with a heavy bias on over the 40's.

Campaign Description:

Link Communication organised a branded event area in Ashley Shopping Centre for a period of two weeks prior to Ladies Day at Epsom racecourse. The event area comprised of:

  • A branded car which people could win by entry a prize draw.
  • Branded competition entry forms and ballot box.
  • Branded displays and pop up graphics.
  • Branded leaflet dispensers.
  • Mannequins dressed in the 'Ladies Day' style.

The event areas was manned by a high calibre member of the Link Communication promotion team who promoted the Ladies Day, distributed leaflets and encouraged people to enter the competition.

Results:

  • There were over 4,000 entrants to the competition.
  • Over 7,000 leaflets were distributed over the course of two weeks.
  • The client reported Ladies Day was a huge success with record attendance figures.
  • Link Communication continue to promote this event on an annual basis.
