Campaign Description:
Promotional teams targeted students from further education colleges through the hand to hand distribution of branded print material outside the college gates and at a local transport links. In additions to this, the teams displayed posters and leaflets in all communal facilities around the colleges. The staff were fully briefed about the benefits, features, prices and offers to inform interest students.
Results:
- The campaign was an outstanding success due to the low cost deals available and the strong desire of most students to pass their driving test as soon as possible.
- Over 10,000 leaflets and posters were distributed and displayed over the course of two days.
- The client was very happy with the campaign and reported record levels of interest.

Brief:
To promote awareness and increase sales for Icon Store’s by executing a leaflet distribution campaign to drive footfall to the stores.
Target Audience:
- Males 16-25
- Fashion conscious men and women with disposable income, aged 25+.
Campaign Description:
Link Communication provided two promotional staff in 50 major UK cities and towns to distributed branded print material hand to hand in busy city centre walkways during peak Saturday shopping hours. The staff were briefed on the locations of the stores and directed interested people to the nearest store.
Results:
- Over 100,000 branded leaflets were distributed over the 50 locations.
- The client reported record footfall on the day of the promotion and went on to book four more weeks of activity.
