Brief:

To promote awareness and increase participation in Noise Festival online arts and drama competitions.

Target Audience:

  • Students
  • Teens
  • Anyone with an interest in The Arts

Campaign Description:

Promotional teams displayed flyers and posters in highly prominent positions where the target audience would have ample opportunity to see and collect them. These areas included:

  • Community centres / youth projects / job centres
  • City centre shops, bars, cafes, hairdressers etc
  • Midweek market areas
  • University halls of residence.
  • Specific university departments: Creative media, art + design departments.
  • Designated high density ethnic housing areas.
  • City centre teen hangout areas

Results:

  • Over 100,000 leaflets and 25,000 brochures were displayed through 6 major UK cities in highly prominent positions.
  • The Noise Festival reported a record high number of entrants in their online competition.
