Campaign: Noise Festival awareness campaign
Brief:
To promote awareness and increase participation in Noise Festival online arts and drama competitions.
Target Audience:
- Students
- Teens
- Anyone with an interest in The Arts
Campaign Description:
Promotional teams displayed flyers and posters in highly prominent positions where the target audience would have ample opportunity to see and collect them. These areas included:
- Community centres / youth projects / job centres
- City centre shops, bars, cafes, hairdressers etc
- Midweek market areas
- University halls of residence.
- Specific university departments: Creative media, art + design departments.
- Designated high density ethnic housing areas.
- City centre teen hangout areas
Results:
- Over 100,000 leaflets and 25,000 brochures were displayed through 6 major UK cities in highly prominent positions.
- The Noise Festival reported a record high number of entrants in their online competition.
- Link Communication look forward to continued success in publicising the 2007 online competition on behalf of the Noise Festival.
