'Improve your Home' street theatre campaign

Brief:

To promote awareness and generate sales of Footlocker's exclusive black Adidas footwear range.

Campaign Description:

Link Communication's professional acting staff dressed as Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen, alongside teams of four promotional staff members, who invited passers-by to enter a competition to win a home entertainment system and pairs of the newly released trainers.

The concept behind the promotion was how the home entertainment system and trainers could 'Improve your Home'. The actor interacted with the crowd and entertained them, whilst the promotional staff took details of interested parties. This campaign was executed simultaneously outside five Footlocker stores across the UK.

Results:

  • Over 3,000 people entered the competition.
  • 20,000 leaflets were distributed on the day of the campaign.
  • Footlocker stores were at capacity on the day of the activity, as a result of the promotion teams pulling people in to the stores.
