CAMPUS ACTIVITY

  • . High-calibre promotion staff targeted students on busy walkways leading to and from 16 selected London universities, and on campus within union buildings, main lecture theatres and around busy walkways.
  • The promotion staff approached the students and distributed the EasyPizza leaflets. The staff also verbally promoted the brand and the quality of the pizzas to drive students to the EasyPizza website to make an order.
  • The promotion staff handed out small pieces of hot pizza to the students on the busiest campuses.

HALLS ACTIVITY

  • The promotion teams visited each hall of residence building owned by each of the universities to display the print material and to distribute it across the student accommodation blocks.

Results:

  • Activity was successfully executed simultaneously across: City Uni / Goldsmiths / Imperial / Kings College / Guildhall Uni / Westminster / Uni of Arts / Brunel / Thames Valley / St Mary / East London / Queen Mary / Middlesex / North London / Roehampton / Southbank
  • High cut-through with approximately 90% of students retaining the leaflet.
  • Branded apparel worn by the promotion staff enabled the team to stand out to the students, with students recognising the ‘easy orange’ colour and the brand which attracted attention towards the staff.
  • Many students stopped to ask the promotional staff questions, showing an interest in the promotion.
  • The students’ reaction to the price and taste of the pizzas was positive and many said that they would definitely order an easyPizza in the future.
