Campaign: Teen Disco Events

Brief:

To raise awareness and drive attendance for the Dance Factory's teen dance events.

Target Audience:

Children (aged 10-15)

Campaign Description:

Promotional teams handed out print, detailing the event location, DJs, drinks policy and information to parents. Teams of staff were positioned:

  • Outside the top 10 largest high schools in each city, midweek as schools closed.
  • At city centre teen hang-outs: Outside McDonalds / Burger King / HMV, etc, on Saturday afternoons.
  • At suburban areas: Skate parks / Bowling alleys / Multiplex Cinemas, etc, during weekend early evenings.

Results:

  • Approximately 10,000 leaflets were distributed per city, for each event (depending on size of venue).
  • The events were at capacity at each location.
