Brief:
To execute a solus door to door campaign through the residential areas of Watford to recruit staff prior to the launch of the new Watford TK Maxx store.
Target Audience:
Residents of Watford
Campaign Description:
A ten person promotional team targeted all residents in the Watford area. The teams distributed the recruitment leaflets directly into the letterboxes of every household. The team split into five groups, each covering different streets each day. Two team leaders co-ordinated the staff, working alongside the teams, recording details of each street covered each day.
Results:
- Over 50,000 recruitment leaflets were distributed to residents over the duration of just five days.
- The opportunity was delivered within the allocated time frame by the teams to local residents.
- TK Maxx reported they had more applicants than expected and the store was fully staffed prior to launch.
