Brief:
To hand out books to cinema viewers to coincide with the launch of the Harry Potter movie The Half Blood Prince, promoting the new paperback launch of the Brisingr book series.
Campaign Description:
- Teams of high calibre staff in themed medieval warrior style costumes handed out copies of the Brisngr book.
- The team approached the Harry Potter viewers as they left the cinema and verbally promoted the book by explaining the characters within the Brisingr book and distributing the first in the series of Brisingr books.
Results:
- 10,000 books were distributed during this activity across five different locations to the demographic audience.
- 90% of people approached would be happy to accept and retain one of the books.
